I order to go from here frequently and the food is really good ! Never been dissappointed. You want spicy? You got it. It's your choice ....The rice paper garden rolls are always in to go order. Love them! Everything I have ordered has met my expectations.
This is absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant in Merced. They hands-down have the best spring rolls and pad Thai I've tasted anywhere. The service is awesome--everyone is always super friendly and quick. If you order for pickup, it's usually ready in 10 to 15 minutes. The restaurant has a really homey feel, which makes it even better. This spot never disappoints. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a 10 out of 10--you have to!

The food was delicious, the pho hit the spot! Amazing service, our waitress was constantly checking in, we went late at night so the place was nice quiet just some chatting. Love this place! Can't wait to be back
To me, Houakhong 2 is a hit or miss. Some of their dishes are good, but some are a disappointment. For example, I wouldn't order the deep fried tilapia again. I ordered the curry sauce on the side, which was probably a mistake as well. The fish was pretty dried and overfried. Not much flavor to it.

Delicious, quick, exceptional. We go here all the time. We typically call in our order and just pick it up. The pick up time is almost always 15 min. You can't beat that. Our family favorites are the Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Pad Kimao, Gaeng Garee over white rice. Beef Broccoli, Chicken Pho and the Spring Rolls. Its not a fancy restaurant but the food is amazing and the girls who take your order are very sweet.
